The college offers two year (four semesters) M.Ed Degree programme is affiliated to Kerala University. The curriculum design of this programme is in tune with the guidelines of new revised 2018 scheme. The Annual intake of this course is to one batch of 25 students. The course is run under self financing mode.

Library is a hub of intellectual life of a college. Post Graduate Department features an extensive stock of books including journals and magazines. It inculcate the student’s develop their intellectual potentials. There is good collection of Dissertations since 2006. Department comprises of Seminar hall with a projector and smart board which is beneficial for conducting the seminar/workshop. PMTC provides all the basic and advance facility for a teacher trainee to study well and be a good teacher and researcher.

Amrutha S and Gayathri S got First and Second rank respectively in 2018.
As per M.Ed curriculum, Internship programmes (institution visit), empowerment programme for B.Ed trainees, Institution twinning and social service programme have been executing. Workshop on yoga and webinars on different topic is being conducted. namely: Basics of research, Educational statistics and Awareness programmes of covid-19 pandemic by different Doctors, DMOs and professors.
