The department of Educational Psychology, Peet Memorial Training College, Mavelikara started in the year 1963 with Dr. C.T. Abraham as Lecturer. Thanks are due to the initiative, drive and vision of the former Principals, Prof. K. Samuel, Prof. Verghis Chandy, Dr. Grace Annie Mathews, Dr. Annie Paul, Dr. Ashok Alex Philip, and Dr. Jibby George who contributed a lot for the development of the department. Dr. Alie Molly Verghis is incharge of the psychology lab. A well-furnished psychology lab is functioning in the college to help the student teachers familiarize themselves with various psychological tools and techniques. A number of paper pencil tests related to various psychological attributes and a number of equipments are available. B.Ed and M.Ed students make use of the lab for doing psychology related practical work and also for project related data collection.
