The National Service Scheme Unit of Peet Memorial Training College was inaugurated on August 10th Wednesday. Sri,Nishad T, Asst. Professor MSM College Kayamkulam & Coordinator of NSS Alapuuzha District officially inaugurated  the NSS Unit  in the honourable presence of Dr.Mariamma Mathew, Principal, PMTC, who also presided over the function.

The inaugural ceremony began with the prayer song sung by the college choir followed by the Welcome speech delivered by Ms.Shruthy Prabhakar, NSS Unit Secretary. Ms.Karen Susan Mathew presented the History and Motto of NSS to create an awareness to the prospective teachers.  Ms.Naurin I invited the Chief Guest for the Inaugural speech and it was followed by felicitations by Ms Archana B (College Union Chairperson), Ms.Induja.S, (Student Representative) and Dr.Mumtas. S , NSS Programme Officer, PMTC. Ms. Lekshmipriya. S  delivered the vote of thanks.

PMTC is the first Aided B.Ed college that initiated the activities of NSS in Alappuzha district. Thus, it is undoubtedly another golden feather that has been added to the infinite achievements gained by Peet Memorial Training College.
