College Union of the Peet Memorial College  2019-20 or ‘Prayaanam’ begins its new  journey. The College Union inauguration was held on 11th Oct 2019.The inauguration started with the college prayer song was led by the college choir.Staff Adviser to the College Union Professor Bobby Oommen Kurian welcomed all to the program. Newly elected chairperson Miss Meriya Cheriyan delivered the presidential address. Miss Jessmin Sara Aby, magazine editor,introduced the chief guest. The college Union was inaugurated by Professor V.C.John, former vice principal of Bishop Moore College. He emphasized on the importance of teachers becoming students daily and how to become a good teacher by becomin g a good student first. He spoke about the secret ingredient to become a good teacher which is nothing but love. Mr.Eldho G Roy introduced the guest of honor Father Severios Thomas. Arts Club was inaugurated by Father Severios. He captured the entire crowd through his meaningful message and his talent of singing. He spoke about the power that the youth possed to advocate for change.MIss Gilta Gilbert ,UUC,introduced the guest. Cultural and Social Activities was inaugurated by the upcoming cine artist Miss Sanjana Sajan. The Felicitations were delived by Dr.Jibby George,College Principal, Professor Dr.Sony Mary Varghese, and Miss JInu Ann Koshy,Former Chairperson. Mementos were presented to the guests of the day. Miss Veena Soman gave vote of thanks.

        

Cultural Programs

Father Severios Thomas performed a ‘Maapila Paatu’ and managed to get the students off their seats. Cine artist and singer Miss Sanjana entertained the crowd with a beautiful melody.Various programs were conducted in the afternoon. Cultural pragrams included Ranga pooja,western dance, cinematic dance and songs. Musical Instrument Fest by the Rejoice Band entertained the Peet with the beautiful musical fusion of violin and keyboard. The band was led by Mr.Rijo Joshua and Mr.Sankar. The students of the Peet were a brilliant set of audience.
